Stockgrove Survey 28th May
An interesting night. We found a couple of Schwegler boxes with Natterer’s in. That means all the Schwegler boxes put up in Stockgrove have now been occupied. In addition to that we may have found another new Noctule roost. We … Continue reading
Bats get lost
We are used to getting bat calls about bats flying in buildings when the young bats take to the wing. At the moment the females are pregnant but we have had two calls in the past two days where bats … Continue reading

Bat Walk at Priory Park
We did a walk for the friends of Putnoe Wood and the Mowslebury Hill Fort. Therewere lots of bats about and we picked up a few Nathusius pipistrelles. We shall have another go at trapping there later in the season.
Stockgrove Survey 14th May
