With lock down making group events out of the question, more of the bat group have been suing the easing of restrictions to take their bat detectors for walks , so we have been getting more data, including GPS locations.
Gwen and Mark visited Stockgrove on Monday and attracted the attention of some rather lonely swans. There were also plenty of bats.
“In terms of bats the first box we looked in had at least 6 brown long-eared bats! Another box had at least 2 and there were noctules in one of the tree roosts. An obliging soprano pip flew around out heads several times whilst it was still light & there was a good few Daubenton’s, noctules and pips over the lake”
