Mist netting at Sandy Warren

After our earlier success we went back to Sandy Warren to see if we could catch some of those numerous Myotis. I bet you can already guess the outcome. They had all flown off somewhere else and we heard hardly any. Did manage to catch a soprano pipistrelle and this very well endowed juvenile male noctule. It is refreshingly easy to sex bats sometimes!
