Long term patient released

Old news now, but on June 20th Aidan and family released the pipistrelle which has been living at their house since last Autumn. It was badly savaged by a cat and had lost a great deal of fur. It healed well, but not in time to be released before the Winter. With help from Jan Ragg ,Aidan provided the bat with an option to hibernate, and once Spring came flew it regularly. It was ready to go but the weather was so rotten he delayed until the 2oth June when it was released back where it had been found and flew off like the clappers.
