Despite torrential rain in the east of the county, we were able to go ahead with a woodland survey in Mid Beds last night.- and it did not rain! We heard Natterer’s and both soprano and common pipistrelles in a wood we had not visited before. The Griffin detector also picked up some unusual social calls, that we have not a clue about.
