Andy Banthorpe, the moth recorder for Bedfordshire, recently joined the bat group He has asked that if any of you come across a pile of wings in a church or other building, he would be very happy to receive them. One of the things he is interested in is the unlucky insects that find their way into a bat’s diet. You can contact him atvc30macromoths@picus.co.uk
This only applies to sites in Bedfordshire and please don’t go tearing wings off butterfly at random to send to him!
