It is a source of constant embarassment that we are still behind with the production of the Annual Report. This is because in recent years we have collected much more data and take longer to sift our way through it.
We want to make some of our findings more widely available to members and so are starting this page.
In 2005 we produced a paper for the Bedfordshire Naturalist on our project radiotracking barbastelles. Barbastelle Radiotracking (BNHS)
In 2015 we produced this report on our study which compared the use of Kent and Gwent Boxes at Priory Park and discovered the Kent boxes were far better used. Looking at the data we discovered that bats show a seasonal preference for slot use in the Kent boxes according to season according to season
