The Bedfordshire Bat Group organises a number of different types of events each year ,
\nWe can only work within the county of Bedfordshire<\/span>.You can contact us at enquiries(at)bedsbatgroup.org.uk .<\/a><\/p>\n

If you are not based in Bedfordshire, you can check your nearest bat group on the Bat Conservation Trust\u00a0 website<\/a><\/p>\n

Walks<\/span><\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/a>Every year the bat group leads a number of free bat walks. Most of these are administered through other organisations.\u00a0\u00a0 In 2014 We helped at\u00a0 walks\u00a0 at Priory Country Park\u00a0 Harrold Country Park and Ampthill Town Council. These are all organised by these organisations (see calendar for dates and booking details We are currently awaiting confirmation of the Ampthill Park walk, which will probably take place during August). https:\/\/www.bedsbatgroup.org.uk\/wordpress\/?page_id=9683<\/a><\/p>\n

We were also contacted by a number of organisations e.g. Friends of Tiddenfoot, local scout groups, and once again they sort out the booking side of things for us<\/p>\n

Contact us if you have would like us to organise a walk for you. Numbers are limited to twenty to ensure the best possible experience. We do not charge for talks but welcome donations for the bat care fund and will not do walks if you are going to charge participants to attend. We can tailor walks to the needs of a group (e.g. visually impaired and often use sites which are wheelchair friendly<\/p>\n

Every year we do a number of talks. We can tailor these to your requirements.<\/p>\n

We do not charge for talks but welcome donations,We do not charge for talks but welcome donations. The money from donations funds our bat care project. The money from l 2015s talks has allowed us to buy a polytunnel for use rehabilating injured bats.<\/p>\n

One of the most challenging talk we ever s was one we gave for the Luton iiIght Concern Group, some of whom were completely blind and so we had to describe bats with words<\/p><\/div>\n

We\u00a0 give talks on a range of topics to adult groups. These can be tailored to fit your requirements. In 2014 we gave talks to the Bedfordshire Natural History Society, the Bedford Group of the Wildlife Trust, and\u00a0 a number of\u00a0 church and retired groups<\/p>\n

We also have a long history of doing talks in schools and for beavers, brownies and\u00a0 scout groups within Bedfordshire.<\/p>\n

The Bat Group takes its stall to a limited number of events each year. You will, need to provide us with cover and tables. We don’t go to events which change us to attend.<\/p>\n
