We are sorry to announce that the captive juvenile Leisler’s has died . The fact that she wasn’t gaining weight was a source of concern, so Kel wasn’t exactly surprised, but we were hoping for the best.\u00a0 Alas, it was not to be.\u00a0 Thanks to Kel for all her valiant efforts. Once again this shows just how challenging bat care is.<\/p>\n
