More than 50 Daubentons passes of the lake, brown long eared bats a a box, another box had a probable Daubenton in it.<\/p>\n<p>Regular readers of this blog know that we moan endlessly about bending down by the lake holding a torch to do the Daubenton&#8217;s count.\u00a0 ( Some of us are not as young as we were). All hail to Malcolm who made a device for resting the torch on so we didn&#8217;t have to kneel down.
