Builders know they must stop work if they find a bat in these circumstances, but the householders were doing it themselves. and didn&#8217;t realise. Martin went over yesterday to check all was OK\u00a0 and that no bats were stuck in the cavity wall. Fortunately there was still a gap into the cavity wall so that any remaining bats could escape when they woke up from hibernation.
