It was a nice afternoon on Thursday – blue skies and dry. BUT as the time for the bat walk got nearer so the weather got worse. In Mid Beds it was torrential rain. We headed off to the bat walk at Harrold Odell not expecting any one would turn up. We were wrong. It was less rainy there , but still wet. However,\u00a0 this had not stopped some brave souls coming out, dressed for a downpour.<\/p>\n

There were some brave bats who braved the rain and gave us good display, and it drizzled rather than poured. People certainly earned their bat walk badges last night.<\/p>\n
