Analysing Pinpoint Bat
At one point over the weekend we had all four detectors out. We had one returned and spent quite a time slogging through the 612 files. The survey was in a place we have never been and we identified several … Continue reading
Large Numbers of Daubenton’s at Stockgrove
Geraldine writes The survey on Tuesday night was an interesting one, as per usual for Stockgrove. Luckily we had Bob to enlighten us about the unusual calls and behaviour from 2 Noctules that were flying over the lake. Most probably … Continue reading
Busy weekend for Pinpoint Bat
We have three of the four kits out this weekend. One of our members did a 2 hour stroll in his local wood last night and came upon a badger minding his own business. Both badger and human were thoroughly … Continue reading

Andy B has his own Peersonic and GPS and has been putting it to good use . On holiday in the Conwy valley he recorded at least five species of bat including a lesser horseshoe which we never get in … Continue reading
More Pinpoint Bat Data
Andy had his own Peersonic detector and GPS and took it with him on holiday in North Wales. Just to prove I have been practicing following Bob’s bat call and analysis training. I ran my Peersonic this evening at the … Continue reading
The silence is deafening
There have been no posts for over a month. This is in part cos we have busy with Pinpoint Bat and in part because my computer has given up the ghost and the past 10 days have been spent getting … Continue reading
