Surveys are not open to non members, except RSPB staff
You need need to to be a world authority on bat biology. You’ll quickly develop the skills needed and you’d help us to learn more about Bedfordshire’s bats, In the early days of the bat group we held a number of surveys at The Lodge at Sandy which is headquarters of the RSPB.
In 2018 we have worked with the RSPB to create a new route which will featured areas due for management. As well as the walked transect we also set up some static detectors. We may make minor changes to the route in 2019
