Created Oct 2011
- In March 2011 two of us were lucky enough to go on a bat expedition organised by Daniel Hargreaves led Trinidad naturalist Geoffrey Gomes
-
In an action packed week we were able to see some 35 species of bat, of wich we were able to photograph while they were being processed.
- My thanks to Keith Cohen for some tips on how to fine tune my Lumix camera so that I got some recent pictures,
-
One of the high spots was the sight of Sam’s improvised diffuser which consisted of a polystyrene tray used for putting chips in. No one laughed when we saw the quality of photos he got.
-
Most of the time we were working really hard, but there were moments when we could take things easy for a while and check photos or get some bat reading done
