We told new memberss that Lakeside was a brilliant survey. Thursday saw a misty day and cold temperatures. 7 bat group members turned out already to count the bats out of the roost
The bats were more sensible not one emerged and after an hour we abandoned the survey.
We did achieve something. Emily got to used an endoscope but plans to hand net a bat was not a success
