The first Bats & Boats took place last night. There was some longed for rain but it soon stopped and everyone had a good time on the water. We heard Pipistrelles, Daubentons as well as Noctules and a Serotine. Thanks to Danny Bob Nicky and the Viking Kayak Club for a successful evening.
Thanks also for the unexpected donation from participants. This will go into our detector battery fund.
Next week’s event is fully booked but we hope to run these again next year
