Stockgrove Monday 13th May

A rain free night at last and a really profitable one. Once again the Daubenton’s over the lake were in short supply, but we heard barbastelle and serotines as well as the usual common and soprano pips. Brown long eared and soprano pips were found in boxes and we also saw a single Noctule leave a tree roost.  Then we spotted more Noctules come out of s tree roost we had previously noted had roost  potential. Imagine our delight wen we counted 38 bat out.
