After a rather frustrating week , some of the group returned to Whipsnade Zoo to do the survey which was rained off earlier in the month. Tonight luck held . It didn’t rain , so no lurking under trees AND there were bats Soprano and common pips were heard as well as Noctules and Daubenton’s . There were also some Myotis which weren’t identified at the time. Lots of recordings to analyse.
Thanks to Hedj for videoing some of it
On our next visit, we will try trapping bats not wallabies
