“Another successful bats n boats event. However, you know they say ‘never work with kids and animals’ well we are adding teachers to that list. Had a group of 4 young teachers (was going to be 5, but one was ill). Only the one who booked the places did it as a surprise for the rest, they thought they were doing Tapas Tuesday.
Well they had a fab time and actually made Shaun from the Viking Kayak Clubs blush!!! Those members who have done bats n boats and have met Shaun (the loud one) will know what a challenge that is ! Hedj was the lead in that boat and he has some stories to tell but don’t worry we won’t print them here.”
