Bat Boxes at Sandy Warren

Scheduled building work at The RSPB headquarters at Sandy Warren  means they have had a consultant in to survey the buildings and to make recommendations about what mitigation was needed before the work commences. The grounds staff were unaware of the consultants report until Bob brought it to their attention. (the report had gone to the buildings section)  He also pointed out that failure to carry out this mitigation was in breach of the planning permission. Once the grounds staff had seen the report they were happy to implement it. Two of the Bat Group met with them on Tuesday to explain the reasons for the consultants’ recommendations.
