Several people involved in the Bats and Churches project had a very successful meeting at one church today with the long suffering churchwardens who have worked hard to get the church reopened. They understand that bats are protected and exclusion is not an option, but they are in the firing line from some of their parishioner who are still fearful of them carrying nasty diseases.
