Grounded bat

A pipistrelle was brought into a  Flitwick house by a  cat. One of our carers visited the house (keeping to Bat Conservation Trust social distancing guidelines) The bat was taken into care.  It appeared uninjured but was underweight. After a few days of TLC it was well enough to be released and flew off strongly It’s always a source of concern when a cat catches a bat as their mouths are not a germ free zone.
