What did I tell you?. Off to a second wood tonight all fired up to tag. We did catch a barbastelle but it was male and as the males are solitary so we decided not to tag him. We do have a clearer idea of where they are roosting and will try to go back again when we get a free night.

We did catch a Natterer’s which meant we could confirm that they use the wood. (Natterer’s are almost impossible to identify by sound alone)
