With the further relaxation of Covid restrictions we are reintroducing more of our surveys especially one off bat detector surveys.
DuetThis means we can do public bat walks and talks again
This is the detector we use on public bat walks
We use the Peersonic on woodland surveys because it saves all the files
Details are on the members’ newsgroup calendar and in the newsletter. We will add new dates as we get them
British bats do not carry covid 19 but remember they may carry ELVB which is why it is important you don’t handle the bat in ungloved hands. We will ensure that we don’t make close contact to prevent the risk of passing Covid to bat. All activities will be risk assessed with this in mind
