Bat walk in Ampthill Park

A windy night played in our  favour as it kept bats close to home.  We picked up six species bat detector including the rare barbastelle. As usual there was a spectacular display from the pipistrelles in the wood as we left the club car park. This walk booked up very quickly so we are doing another one on Monday. Hope we do as well.
