When we arrived at Wardown Park our hearts fell when we saw the fun fair had arrived. It doesn’t bother the bats but is quite noisy. As it turned out we were OK as it wasn’t running.
We met 14 members of MNDA (Motor Neurone Disease Association) in the car park . As we explained at detector we were greeted by an early evening pipistrelle flying overhead. Then we spotted several flying over the flower beds. People got a really good view of them swooping down to feed. There were pips everywhere. We picked up Daubenton’s and we did spot a few flying low over the water.
