We were invited to do this talk following our walk for Sight Concern at Stockgrove Country Park. One of the people who attended was a lady from this group. On her recommendation three other ladies came to the overcrowded bat walk at Wardown museum in September. So when we arrived we received a warm welcome and found three of our audiences wearing bat walk badges. Our talk was well received and people showed a lot of interest in bats and of course the captive Noctule went down a storm.
One again we got a generous donation which will keep the bat in the manner to which she might like to become accustomed and have offered to organise a walk for them if they would like one.
Wardown museum has given us their word that they will run a booking system in future and so it is likely that we will be doing more walks there in any case next season.
