We did another talk for beavers last night. This time there was no one who was frightened of bats. Once again the youngsters listened enthralled and both they and the adults present enjoyed meeting the bat. We always make a point of giving parents a chance to see the bat as well as the youngsters. Given how cold it was the bat was very perky – we, on the other hand, would have liked a hibernate until it gets warmer setting.
