We did another box check on Sunday and managed to look at all 53 boxes. We were a little disappointed that we only found two soprano pipistrelles, one of which was incredibly stroppy. But we also had a number of boxes with bat droppings in for the first time.

We were reassured to hear that another bat group had checked 160 boxes on the same day and had found no bats at all,. We did wonder if it was just us I will be interesting to see what happens next month.
