While some of us were hunting for the tagged Natterer’s bat, Kelly was leading the survey at Harrold Odell Country Park. Bat group members were joined by three members of the public.
Kel says
“plenty of pips, lots of Noctule activity. think I heard a Myotis in normal spot, Daubenton’s as well, but they were far out as it was so still and a few common pipistrelles.”
There was also a wonderful display of insects dancing in the air, but they were too busy frolicking to bother biting us.
