Talks in November

The one thing that continues in November is the talk we do.

On Nov 6th we had a warm welcome from a group of Bunyan Church friends, including one lady who bought with her some pictures of fruit bats at Cairns in Australia and we also met some one who had first joined the Bedfordshire History Society  many moons ago as a life member

A week later we went back to the Cordova Club in Dunstable with a new talk on Bats and Halloween. What they seemed to like best were the gruesome spells which used  to be cast using bats and bits thereofbatblood spells. I did make them promise to try hone of them at home as bats are a protected species and they would leave themselves open to prosecution. ( The ” bat blood” in the illustration isn’t real blood I hasten to add). It  is always nice to do a talk on something different- so if you want a talk about a specific aspect of battiness get in touch
