Talking about bats at Ursula Taylor School, Clapham

bat careRequests for bat talks come via a variety of routes. This one resulted from a meting between  a teacher and a bat group member who were at the same first aid training course.

When Heather Lee met us, she explained that she had been teaching about bats to her reception class and they had been very keen, bringing in books on bats an even researching bats on the internet.

So I started the session by asking them what they knew about bats= and they proceeded to cover half my talk. They were a smashing group who listened really carefully and had great fun counting the bats coming out of a roost. They were very good observers and I think they all got within two of the correct answer

It was nice to meet so many bat fans.
