Baby sitting captive bats

Soggy wanted to go on the box check but her young charges are still on a five hourly feeding regime, so she had to find baby sitters.

Many thanks to Dick and Geraldine who took on the task, and are now expert at deheading meal worms. They enjoyed their visitors and Geraldine commented how healthy they all looked.
“It was lovely to see the pup we’d collected from Linslade again, the pup
has really grown under Soggy’s tender loving care. The other pup is very
vocal and much lighter in colour. The Linslade bat is known to us as
Tiddles, because Tiddles was found not that far from Tiddenfoot Lake as
the bat flies, and was a little tiddler in size, the other pup Soggy
calls Squeak, for obvious reasons.”
