On Thursday seven members of the bat group staked out the soprano pipistrelle roost and found 15 bats were in residence
We also set up two detectors to record elsewhere on the site
On checking the recordings we found Noctules, Daubenton’s, common and soprano pips, serotines and several highly plausible Leisler’s. This is the site where we caught our first Leisler’s last year
