Meet Gnasher

Image result for gnasher

We got a call from Lisa and Mick that they had a grounded bat. We went over as Aiden was at work . To our amazement, the grounded bat was a serotine juvenile male. We knew there was a serotine roost in the house, but hadn’t expected this. We knew there were also pips and brown long eareds is residence.

The male was gorgeous and uninjured

Bob suggested they tried returning him that evening as he was probably still being fed by his mum.

Lisa was very taken with the bat, especially the teeth, hence the name given him.

He gave Lisa and Mick instructions on how to return him to the roost – and we heard this morning that he had been succssfully returned . Result.
