Sonograms of Sandy Warren Survey

We make a recording of all the calls we hear on a survey,as even with a number of pair of ears things get missed. So it can be fun when the calls are analysed The human ears didn’t pick up the all barbastelles because of loud pipistrelles which drowned them out

Better still the static recorder at the Gatehouse on closer analysis showed a serotine and what was almost certainly a Leisler’s.(a rarely heard bat in Beds)
