Natural England buy new site

Some time ago Natural England contacted us as they had bought some of the Hexton Manor estate adjoining Pegston Hills which included land in Beds and Herts. This provoked joy as it is a beautiful area irrespective of bat potential

On the 19th representatives of both the Bedfordshire and  Herts and Middlesex Bat Groups  met with the Reserve Manager for Barton,  Knocking  H0 and Hexton met to wander, and wonder, over the new site.

The two groups will co-operate on investigating the site.
