Two of us went over to a snow covered Rushmere Park to look at the proposed sites from sculpture installations with a view to seeing whether they would get in the way for bats. There shouldn’t be a problem and we were very pleased to be asked at an early stage in the planning.
Over a cuppa in the Visitor’s Centre we discussed other bat related matters, as this is an excellent site for bats
We are planning to do some surveys here this summer as we know there are barbastelles around and we will also develop some interpretive materials for display at the Centre
We were also asked by one of the Rangers if we could have a look at another site in the Summer. It is one we had a look at a few years back and would love an excuse to go and have another look.
