Bats and the rain

We have been saying for a while now that  bats are likely to be effected by this rotten weather. Yesterday our main carer Simon got three calls about injured bats which he took into care, including this beauty .This is our first Noctule for a couple  of years and we hope she won’t give birth in captivity like the last one  2010-7-The Slip End Noctule Comes of Age

Found in Linslade. Needs some Antibiotics for a small injury to her waist membrane but at the moment, feeding/drinking well. Was very dehydrated and thirsty when collected
