North Bucks and Bedfordshire Bat’s group Toby Thorne has been filming again. He went down to Somerset to a swarming site there. A total of 28 bats were caught during the evening and Toby was able to film some of their releases. He used a high speed camera, so you can make out details that you don’t normally see if you are just watching a bat being released. Not that you would see a sight like this in Beds ( or even N. Bucks) as we don’t get horseshoes this far north) You can see his footage here.
