When I contacted Shirley Thompson ,the editor of Tthe Young Bat worker about Jim Lawrence she asked me if I could help her with an article on our work at in Bedfordshire Woods. This has also been published in the new edition of the Young Batworker and includes photos of Jonathan and Andrew busy at work. On a chill day in November it seems a long time until we can be out in the field doing this sort of work again- though there are the hibernation surveys to look forward to.
